Basically iPhone 14 with usb-c. I’m all for it and actually I’ll be inclined to “downgrade” from 14 Plus to it. And if they keep price so low this will be a no-brainer.
Had to restore forum from backup yesterday because my previous nginx configuration messed up with let’s encrypt and it was just easier and quicker to boot up another machine and restore it from backup. Anyway, here’s my face after 2 hours of “just gonna update Discourse quickly and go to bed”.
Also after moving to mostly one-desk-to-do-it-all setup I think Mac Mini IN ADDITION to my current M1 Air isn’t that bad idea? Beefing it up a bit and it could be much better setup but I would still be able to move between places with Air. All these ideas are great until money becomes a topic.
I hope Apple is going to refresh iMacs and Mac Minis to M2/M3 quite quickly because yo boy here is on the market to maybe pull the trigger somewhere there.
I’ve grown to love this watchface.
I am Apple Music user, love the quality, I have my fav playlists there. BUT because I’m YT Premium subscriber I’ve got an access to YouTube Music. It’s not the highest quality, of course, but it does work fine and in the web browser it actually works thousand times better than AM ever was.
This is definitely going to be a tricky one, but… is there an easy way (or cheap way) to move all of my #homekit onto something less iOS exclusive? If one would, like, want to get an #Android phone, then what would that one be able to do about current smart home? #smarthome

WiFiman is just great tool. Everytime I’m outside and need to do something on local machines I’m thanking myself for picking Ubi Dream Machine as router because it’s just so easy to do stuff there! And no-configuration VPN is perfect.

I wish Arc Browser wasn’t heating up my mac to 50-60*C just because it’s opened. It’s not sustainable. Especially when if I’m using Safari, these temperatures are 50% lower. Safari it is I guess? Or is there anything that’s light on energy/battery/temperature that isn’t Safari?
I fear that missing fan in MacBook Air is actually going to bite me in the ass quite soon therefore I’m unfortunately looking at new macs. First of all - are M1 Pro 14 cool or not? Also worth waiting for cheaper MacBook Pro in October/November?
OMG, honestly, this ability to add websites as apps on macOS is awesome. Having an app for Fastmail which basically is website + icon badges, Mastodon website or even forum.yeswas.pl is just crazy and I love it!
I love how suddenly cases for a year old phone became much, much cheaper.
