First emulators are coming to iOS! iGBA is available but please don’t download it yet since it’s stolen code from an open source code with added ads and tracking. But other than that – it works if you want it to (and plays games perfectly fine).

My blogs folder on freshrss is the only one that goes bonkers because bloggers are the only people that will mess with their blogs and – for example – re-release all of their 1000s notes to RSS.

I was grandfathered into some kind of Day One Plus (that basically gives me everything that Premium does apart from custom icons and ability to add more than 10 pics and attaching videos) and finally pulled the trigger to get into Day One Premium. After 113 days I think I’m hooked.

Oh, look! The best shoes are currently on sale, highly recommended. These are THE ONLY shoes I’m purchasing. I’ve had the green ones for 4 years now and just acquired new ones, retiring the old pair.

Is there this big Android community just as big as there is Apple community? I’d like to follow more people from Android world to see new apps and stuff like that.

Coincidentally, I’ve managed to save up some spare change that would enable me to make the purchase today and get the Pixel 8, but I’m choosing to be patient and wait for the Pixel 8a. May 10-ish can’t come soon enough.

Sunday funday.

Yesterday I’ve connected most of the things I was able to connect to Home Assistant without the dongle. Even though not much has changed I’ve grouped all of the lights in each room so now I have buttons to turn on/off lights in each room individually quite easily!

My drafts are wild – this is what welcomed me when I wanted to post a thing today.

I pulled the trigger last night and purchased a dongle for Home Assistant, which enables me to connect directly with Thread/Matter/Zigbee, along with a very affordable Zigbee-enabled sensor. I believe this signifies my transition from Apple HomeKit to a more platform-agnostic system. I’m here for it.

My work is not physically demanding (hey, I sit at the computer for 8 hours), but the first thing that starts to suffer is my voice. After a few hours of meetings, by the end of the day, my voice always gives out.
