I’m also very fine with using micro.blog apps to post to Mastodon. The only issue is that I’d like to be able to use Ivory on my mac and it’s going to suck when I can’t (I mean, I can, but then it goes just to my Mastodon) post stuff from it.
It has already been a month and a half of me having my own blog, under my own domain, with all of my content being then distributed to “other platforms” (hello Mastodon!). Micro.blog is great!

Fortunately this will be a quick fix - downloading files from S3 to put them onto the server. Not much of a job, mostly watching upload going from 0 to 100% in couple of minutes.
Ok, apparently not everything went as smooth as I’d like it to, but having backups before doing any changes is once again something that saves my ass. Seems to me like Discourse didn’t change links to uploaded data, so when I got rid off /uploads, they are 404ing. Understandable.
Happy to wake up (in general, but also) and caps on B2 are not immediately used. Which means I probably didn’t fuck it up too much in terms of configuration!
Great evening, full of coding and administrative work. I’ve finally moved all of the images from forum.yeswas.pl onto B2’s Backblaze. And I gave Mastodon on my own another go, this time from source and works flawlessly! This is… promissing?
🙈 Or when your plans for the whole weekend are being cancelled and now you have an empty weekend, at home, to do whatever you’d like to. It’s like a gift from an universe. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to do the plans, but this isn’t that bad.
