Evenings like these

Three years ago today I married the best partner I could ever wish for. Here’s for the rest of the eternity! 🥳

I’m just very happy with my jump from iphone to Android and OnePlus 13 is the best phone I’ve ever used by far.

Back on Android so of course I’m looking at custom roms for OnePlus 13. There are some very interesting ones that would bring Pixel experience to it!

Gemini CLI is out of this world. I’m vibe-coding shit I always wanted just for me, that nobody would ever be interested in. Love it.

We went to Italy for the weekend, and I obviously took my phone with me, along with my Sony A6000 and a nice 24mm lens. After just a couple of shots, I put my Sony in the bag and shot the entire trip with my OnePlus 13 in Master mode. These are RAW images from the camera. It’s bonkers – so good! I’m very happy with the results, and this is before I’ve applied any filters!

I am very happy to see more and more people leave iOS and explore the Android world.

Everybody is saying that Android apps are of worse quality than iOS apps. And I can see it, but also don’t really notice it in my day-to-day use.

At this point in my career, I’m using — and paying for — far more software than I ever expected. Gmail and Google Calendar are fine. They work. But Superhuman plus Akiflow? Genuinely better. I’m actually saving time, and the $10–15/month feels justified.

It’s a good place to be — finding tools that click. Still, part of me wishes the defaults were better. That I didn’t have to seek out niche products or pay others to fix what shouldn’t be broken in the first place.

New peanut who dis

In the last 3 days I’ve accidentally used 150GB (100%) of my data. It will refill itself in a moment, exactly 27 days. 🥲

Two things: the camera on the OnePlus 13 in Master Mode is a beast. Also, the new Allbirds aren’t as stylish as the first generation, but they’re significantly more comfortable.

OnePlus fast charging and battery life are out of this world. Honestly top end androids are the way to go.
